Marlena graduated in 2021 from Western University with a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Medical Science (Honours Specialization) with a Minor in Medical Cell Biology. She went on to graduate with Honours from the Western University Communication Sciences and Disorders Audiology program in 2024.

During her education, she facilitated an event promoting hearing healthcare to a local community and volunteered for an international trip to provide healthcare to individuals in low-income regions. One of the reasons she chose audiology as a profession is because of personal experience with a family member with childhood hearing loss.

Overall, she is passionate about helping others and providing patients with the best possible care while ensuring their participation in the decision-making process of their treatment plan.
