Services for Seniors
Founded in 1940, the Canadian Hearing Society (CHS) is a charitable agency and the leading provider of services, products, and information that remove barriers to communication, advance hearing health, and promote equity for people who are culturally Deaf, oral deaf, deafened and hard of hearing. As a Hearing Care Counselor, Julia provides services to people age 55+ with hearing loss. These services include counseling to help seniors improve communication with family and friends, stay involved in social activities, and remain safe and independent at home. In this session Julia will provide more information about CHS and the services that are available for seniors.
