162436-20141029Have you had your hearing checked lately?  Did you know that 1 in 5 adults has a hearing loss.

Maintaining a healthy lifestyle may help reduce the risk of hearing loss. Studies have shown that smokers have a higher risk of having a hearing loss than non smokers!  Did you know that hearing loss is twice as common in people with diabetes than those without?  Hearing loss is the third most common physical condition!  Eek,  who knew!

So lets include our ears in the Healthy Lifestyle Plan.  When you are booking your next physical or your next dental check,  think about booking a hearing test!  Your ears deserve it!  It’s quick, easy, complementary  for fist time patients and no referral necessary.

2014 OPEN HOUSE

276821-20140919Monday October 27, 2014 from 9 AM to 5 PM

We are hosting our annual Open House on Monday October 27, 2014 from 9 AM until 5 PM. This year the day will have a Halloween theme!

As part of the event this year, a representative from Starkey Hearing will be available to demonstrate Starkey’s  latest hearing aids: Halo.  These hearing aids are compatible with the newer Apple devices including iPhones and iPads allowing a direct link from these devices to the hearing aids.  If you are interested in a demonstration of Halo please call the office to reserve your time slot. We will also be featuring Starkey’s  Surflink Media which connects the TV to compatible Starkey hearing aids.

As always there will be refreshments, treat bags for hearing aid users, a door prize and our Toonie Raffle. We will also be offering complimentary hearing aid cleaning. Hearing screening will be available and we welcome all spouses, family members and friends to have a complimentary hearing test .

Please join us for this fun day!
